Solar Eclipse;The rare celestial feast

Kerala witnessed the last solar eclipse of the decade on 26th December 2019.North Kerala Districts of Kasargod, Kannur and Kozhikode witnessed full solar eclipse on Thursday.The eclipse was partial in other districts of the state.The eclipse which began at 8am continued till 11.15am. Plenty of sky gazers watched the rare event with special arrangements.

In the critical situation of the spread of Pandemic Covid 19,the college remain closed for the safety of the individuals and  society . A new venture has been taken to enhance the professional skills of the prospective Teachers and an online Course was conducted on the Use of Technology in classroom situations.The sessions were carried out in the first week of April via Google classroom and 96 Teacher Trainees participated with great interest.There was intense training and demonstration on creating an Etext,DataAnalysis using Spreadsheet,Preparation of Blogs and an Econtent.The participants were finally evaluated based on their performances collected using Googleforms.The online Course proved to be successful and interesting for the participants especially Due to   the monotonous routine  during the  lockdown period . Workshop on Socially Useful Productive Work

The fourth semester students were given training in umbrella making,file making and paper bag under the supervision of Mrs.Anila ,the Art and Craft teacher of the college on 10/02 /2020 and 11/02/2020. The students participated with great interest and they exhibited their products on the second day of the workshop.
