ARAFA COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION

Brimming with activities and participation ,the student teachers of Arafa Institue for Teacher Education, extended full support in making the unique experience turned meaningful and marvellous. Thirty seven students participated in  various seventeen items and twenty students provided voluntarily assistance in the conduct of the meet .Our Principal, Dr.Gangadevi Menon, was incharge of the program comittee and six of the teaching staff escorted the students. The India Post Payment Bank has launched an account opening campaign,a hundred percent  government owned public sector bank operating with the Department of Posts under the Ministry of communications which aims to provide house to house banking services.

The fourth semester B.Ed students of our college made a visit to Pope Paul Mercy Home as a part of the institutional visit assigned as a task for the inclusive education.

Student Teachers of our college participated in the intercollegiate sports meet held on 15/02/2020 at MCT College,Melmuri. Arshad .M.Ali bagged second prize in 800 mts running and Anila.K.T secured second prize in Long jump.Our students presented well at the sports meet.

The fourth semester students were given training in umbrella making,file making and paper bag under the supervision of Mrs.Anila ,the Art and Craft teacher of the college on 10/02 /2020 and 11/02/2020. The students participated with great interest and they exhibited their products on the second day of the workshop.
