Field trips are always welcomed by all giving fresh and concrete experiences in life. A visit to Kuthampully in Thiruvillwamala going through the lives of the old traditional handloom techniques of the weavers provide heart touching experience to all the trainees.They went in groups and enquired the procedures and the ways of their traditional living style.It was not only a way of completing the task assigned in the curriculum but a proud feeling towards our own culture and traditions.

The B.ed trainees organised a program in the fond remembrance of Jawaharlal Nehru and conducted a discussion on the significance of observing his birthday as childrens day.Nehru's great contributions for the development of our country were  mentioned and they pay homage to him.

ARAFA INSTITTE FOR TEACHER EDUCATION ,ATTUR hoisted an extension activity for the B.Ed trainees in collaboration with Japan International Corporate Agency.The guests of the day gave a clear detailed explanation of the job oppurtunities in Japan and they assured their support in training  the students Japanese if they are interested in it.

Student Teachers of our college extended their support  in carrying out the school youth festival programs by judging the various items and thus improving their expertise.

Dr.Tamilselvam,Director of the Panchakarma Research Institute,Cheruthuruthy provided a valuable talk on the need of being conscious about the ways in which common people get corrupted by government and non governmental organisations and fostered the spirit to stand united with integrity in washing out such evil system in the society.Posters were presented by the student teachers and they interacted well in the session.Teachers and students took an oath against corruption and they raised their eagerness in taking the e-pledge to show their commitment towards the society.
